Starting from 21st on the grid after a dramatic Q1 session, Stefan Bradl lapped consistently in the 1’22s to earn 19th at the chequered flag. This saw the HRC Test rider end just behind Takaaki Nakagami and ahead of Joan Mir.
The HRC Test Rider gave the home fans something to cheer about at the Sachsenring, Stefan Bradl making his third wildcard appearance of the 2024 MotoGP season. A best time of 1’21.574 put him within a second of the best Honda as Friday came to a close, ending in 21st.

A still recovering Stefan Bradl battled hard over 24-laps of the Gran Premi de Catalunya to end his second wildcard of the year well. Starting 23rd, he was able to set consistent lap times to bring his Honda RC213V home in 19th place.
